Not a ton of pictures this time, but trust me, a whole lot got done. š
First up, we replaced all the original faucets in this home. They were dated and ready for retirement. The new single-hole faucets look cleaner, feel more modern, and even improved water pressure. Quick pro tip: if your pressure is weak, check and clean your aerators before blaming the plumbing gods.
Next came fans. Lots of fans. When the homeowner moved in, there were only two in the entire house, and somehow none in the living room or primary bedroom. Thatās a Texas emergency. š Now the whole home has proper airflow, which should honestly be standard down here, especially once summer hits.
We also handled some electrical work, including breaker replacements. Eaton Gen 2 dual-function breakers (AFCI & GFCI) are known for failing. You can buy new ones, or you can call Eaton directly and get replacements (free of charge) if youāre patient enough to survive the phone hold music.
Last job was a spigot replacement. The old one had failed and the vacuum breaker had seen better days. We replaced everything, including the spigot, insulation, and escutcheon plate, so itās sealed up, protected, and ready for Texas weather to do its worst.
Bottom line: faucets upgraded, airflow handled, electrical issues addressed, and leaks prevented. One more home ready to take on Texas weather without breaking a sweat. šŖ
