Please meet our newest team member — Taisiia 🤍

Originally from Ukraine, Taisiia has found her new home here in Austin — and now, she’s found her home with us too. She’ll be offering both manicure and pedicure services, and brings over 5 years of experience to the table.

To Taisiia, every service is a small work of art. She specializes in achieving natural, effortless-looking results — the kind of nails that make you look like you woke up like this. And her superpower? Baby-soft heels that feel brand new 🦶✨

Outside of the salon, she loves going on walks with her tiny chihuahua, riding her monowheel (yes, seriously), and soaking in the magic of live concerts.

Meet Julia—aka Julia P, aka Downtown Julia—our third technician named Julia! Clearly, Julias know what’s up when it comes to nails (we’re starting to think it’s a requirement at this point). She’s been part of our team for a while now, and we’re finally introducing her to our followers online!

Julia is originally from Russia, but not just any part—she’s from Yakutsk, where the cold reaches a whole different level. After years of braving extreme winters, she and her family are now enjoying the sunny Texas life.

Trained in Russian manicure, Julia has since been certified in our studio’s signature technique. If there’s one thing to know about her, it’s that she has an incredible ability to connect with clients and make them feel at home. Her work is immaculate, and we hope everyone gets a chance to meet her at our downtown location!

Outside of work, Julia loves camping, hiking, spending time with friends, and going to concerts—basically, she was meant to be an Austin girl!

How to book with me 📝❗️

Dear clients! Long time ago at the beginning of my nail tech journey I have decided that there won’t be time when I’m not seeing new clients as long as I’m in this business.

Meeting new people brings me a lot of joy and helps me to keep growing professionally and even personaly.

But unfortunately we only got 24 hours in a day and a limited mental and physical capacity. Runing the salon takes a good amount of time and effort, so I’ve made the decision to cut back on the hours I spend with my clients.

However, I’d still really love to be accepting new clients. To be able to do so I have decided to close my booking online. This will allow us to be the most effective with the time I have available to work with new and regular clients.

So if you are my current client, you should have already gotten an email with booking instructions.

If you’re a new who would like to book with me, I’d be so happy to have you! Just go to our booking website, choose a service that you’d like to book with me and sign up for the waitlist. Make sure you put days and time you’re available and our client coordinator will reach out to you to schedule the appointment.

Welcome to the team Julia Tsyrenova! If there’s one thing I’d say about Julia, it’s that she truly knows her craft. From day one it was obvious that she knows her technique and that technique has been perfected over the years. Julia has been in the nail industry since 2016, originally from Russia (in fact from my neighbor town 😁). She’s honed her skills in premium salons across Moscow, mastering manicures, pedicures, and nail art💅🪄

In her free time, Julia enjoys hanging out with her three hairless Sphynx cats 🐱 , cycling, practicing yoga, and sparring with her husband in Muay Thai. 💪

Originally from Venezuela 🇻🇪, Alejandra moved to Austin in 2015. She comes from a Portuguese and Spanish background and has a passion for makeup and skincare. With her attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, we are thrilled to have her on board as our client coordinator.

Having been a loyal client of our studio for several years, Alejandra shares our passion for non-toxic and professional nail care and is always exited to share her knowledge by answering any of your questions. So many new things happening at That Russian Girl that I couldn’t not share.

First of all we have 2 new nail technicians who are joining our team 🥳 Over 40 applicants, 15 in person interviews and we found our brilliant professionals who soon will be creating magic on our clients hands!

Second, was not an easy decision and took a lot of sleepless nights. We are staying at our Round Rock location 📍Sometimes you need to take a step back to make two forwards in the future. Us coming downtown is not canceled but postponed. For all of you guys who keep driving so far to see us - we are so appreciative and hope to be closer to you all in the nearest future.

And last but not least, new educational program is coming! Teaching never has been a goal of mine on it’s own, but I’ve gathered so much knowledge and experience over the years it feels like a crime not to share it. So I’m writing, reading, filming and occasionally rethinking my life choices 😅 but putting all my efforts into creating a program that will help nail artists become the most professional versions of themselves 📝
