Which we all want to be doing, right? Living longer lives truly & fully, not simply dying longer which so many are doing right now. I'm Krista Moczygemba, your partner in your journey to living truly & fully through nutritional healing, love and energetic light. :)
My health journey in getting here, started at a young age with ongoing stomach issues and then a severe case of Mono in 8th grade that I never was the same after having. Experienced ongoing Mono relapses, which were unheard of by the doctors, with chronic fatigue that at times made lifting out of bed impossible. To add to the health challenges, about 7 years later, I lost both of my parents within the same year to chronic disease. My mother passing away at 49 and my father 52. Way too young for their lives to end. Needless to say, this caused me to re-evaluate all that we call life. Neither of my parents lived to see me graduate from college, the 1st female to go to college and graduate on both sides of the family. I quickly realized, at a younger than typical age, that every day of life we are granted is precious. And from then on, I have done all that I could to truly live each day to its fullest! That re-evaluation of life and my purpose led me back into school at UT for pre-med. This came from a feeling I had deep inside after my experiences of taking my mother to her doctor appointments. Many left me frustrated. But, there was one who greeted her and left her with a hug and words of encouragement. It was amazing how much that would do for her. So much more than any of the medications they kept prescribing. I knew deep down inside that I was meant to do the same for the chronically ill. I managed to complete all of the required courses for medical school right about the same time my bank account went dry. And thanks to a dear pre-med friend, I ended up with a job in the corporate world. Looking back, that was probably a blessing for my own health ended up hitting a wall with conventional medicine. Over time, my own health began to follow the path of my parents. Chronically ill at a younger than anticipated age. And I'm sure the trauma of losing them both at such a young age didn’t help. I had doctors believing I had MS, the kind that is most like ALS. I was collapsing, couldn’t lift my arm to grab a to go bag at a drive through window (too weak & painful), muscles in arms and legs were losing strength, long car rides were excruciating, had severe pain in legs with cramping at night and extreme fatigue. I also struggled with severe endometriosis (3 hysterectomies scheduled - luckily intuitively cancelled each one knowing my uterus was not root cause), had to take progesterone hormones, Hypothyroid meds, suffered from debilitating CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), night sweats, allergies (took allergy pill everyday or would end up with severe bronchitis), IBS, severe bloating, lupus like rash on eye lids & cheeks, pain in hands, reoccurring UTIs, reoccurring mono, reoccurring chicken pox, flu-like symptoms with fever every menstrual cycle, teeth grinding, painful mystery swollen lymph nodes under arm (doctors monitoring me for breast cancer & lymphoma), hands swelling during & after exercise, heat sensitivity, high acidity in body, extreme itching, ovarian cysts, fibroids, & more. The only solutions doctors had were medications, surgeries or nothing at all – as was the case with the MS like symptoms. And none of it truly addressing a root cause. So, I took things into my own hands. Through books that I believe I was divinely guided to, I learned how to heal my body through nutrition and other beneficial means along the way. Today - that list of symptoms are healed! And along the way I lost about 40 pounds and went through menopause without a single symptom. My doctors have been blown away! I see so many struggling with many of the same health issues. And that desire to heal the chronically ill never went away. Just never knew I'd end up as one of the chronically ill. But, feel beyond extremely blessed that I am now healed and can truly, fully live my life the way I want to. That I can be here for my children, watch them graduate from college and maybe even be a grandparent. I want to help others do the same. So, I have become an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. But, it's really all about partnering with you in nutritional healing if you too have hit a wall with your health and don't know where to turn. If this is you, I am here for you! 🤗
With much love and light,
Krista
