A new Spectrum community is taking shape in Scottsdale, AZ! 💫

The Pavilion at Camelback, our newest Assisted Living and Memory Care community, just reached a major construction milestone with the completion of the final secant pile wall. A huge thank-you to our partners at Catamount Constructors, Buesing Corp, and Vessel Architecture for helping us lay the groundwork (literally!) for what’s to come.

With 104 residences and nearly 100,000 square feet of purposeful spaces, this community will blend vibrant design, connection, and comfort for the next generation of older adults.

We were transported by the sights, sounds, and flavors at Austin’s Chinese Culture Festival. Residents enjoyed delicious food before settling in for two hours of performances that blended tradition and modern flair. From graceful dancers to powerful karate demonstrations, soulful singers, and contemporary music, it was a beautiful reminder of how culture unites generations and inspires us all. 💛

Monte Carlo Casino Night was a jackpot of fun 🎰💜 Residents enjoyed casino games, karaoke, a margarita machine, and chocolate fondue with dippers.

Together, we raised $1,100 for the Alzheimer's Association and found new homes for 7 of our Artbrellas!

Next up: our Walk to End Alzheimer’s here at the community on Saturday, October 11th, from 9 AM–12 PM. Save the date and join us as we keep raising funds and awareness in the fight to end Alzheimer’s. 💪💜

Our monthly Life in Focus program was a full house as Elaine H introduced us to her cherished Victrola, affectionately nicknamed “Vickie.” With the help of her daughter, Laura, Elaine walked us through the history of this heirloom, showed how it works, and shared why it’s so meaningful to her family. The group laughed when Elaine admitted, “no one wants to house it, but it must stay in the family!” ❤️

Next month, we’ll hear from Charlotte and Phil about their summers working at Mount Rushmore National Park! 🏞️

Our community enjoyed a fun-filled day starting with lunch at the historic Scholz Garten, Austin’s iconic German Biergarten since 1866. Pretzels, schnitzel, and bratwurst were on the menu—and every bite was delicious!

After lunch, we explored the Bob Bullock Museum, learning more about the history, culture, and pride of Texas.

We’re already excited for our next adventure—Austin Duck Adventures!
