Congratulations to Pacha on her first work anniversary! Here's what she had to say when asked about what her first year was like:

The best part of my job is the people. I’m surrounded by coworkers who feel more like family - supportive, kind, and always willing to lift each other up. Working alongside doctors who show such genuine compassion and exceptional care for their patients makes every day meaningful. Being part of a team that truly cares, not just about the work but about people, is what makes this job so special to me

What I learned:

When I first started this job, my knowledge was focused almost entirely on Retina, and Cornea was completely new territory for me. Over the past year, I’ve learned so much, gaining a deeper understanding of cornea care and is able to assist with Light Adjustable Lens treatments as well. This experience has helped me grow both professionally and confidently, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to expand my skills and knowledge in ways I never expected when I first began

Welcome back Lesley! She attended the Annual Continuing Education meeting held by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. This year's meeting was held in Orlando, Fl. Lesley's courses included topics in a variety of specialties including Cornea, Retina, Neuro-Opthalmology, and Pediatric Ophthalmology. She then took this information and shared it with our techs here at Eye Associates!
Her favorite part of the meeting was listening to the doctors lecture about their passions and how they take care of their patients.

So excited to be celebrating Kristine's third work anniversary!
She is our surgical coordinator assistant and is in charge of getting all paperwork ready and to the surgical facilities. Kristine enjoys working with the team and making sure the patients have everything ready to go prior to their procedures.
