Flour, laughter, and the sweet smell of pastries filled the air as residents rolled up their sleeves to learn how to make traditional Czech kolaches filled with apricot, prune, and cream cheese. 🥐✨

Patti, the daughter of one of our residents, led the demonstration and even dressed in a traditional Czech outfit while sharing the story behind this beloved pastry.

Residents mixed, filled, and sampled the delicious treats, making it a wonderful afternoon of culture, connection, and hands-on fun at Double Creek. 💛
