Keep your distance from others, especially when they are showing symptoms. Though this feels like common sense, this also applies to your family and friends. If you do have to interact with sick people, be vigilant about washing your hands, not touching your face and wearing a mask.

No, flu vaccines cannot cause flu illness. Flu vaccines given with a needle (flu shots) are made with either inactivated (killed) viruses, or with only a single protein from a flu virus. The nasal spray vaccine contains live viruses that are weakened so they will not cause illness, per the CDC.

Welcome to DIG Care

At the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, multiple friends, family, and clients sought our help in sourcing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ultimately, we decided we would put our family’s 50+ years of considerable sourcing expertise in Asia to determine whether this was feasible.

We researched every facet of information available to us regarding PPE. This included certifications mandated to sell PPE, factory compliance requirements, quality control of PPE products, and air and sea transportation. In short, our goal was to provide high-quality products for front-line workers and for the public’s general use, in addition to ensuring those products were received within a reasonable time frame. It was our mission to help others where we saw a need.

At Design International Group (DIG), we are excited to be able to provide PPE products at a competitive price point. We carry KN95 masks, disposable 3-ply masks, face shields, hand sanitizers, and more. We are able to ship to pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, restaurants, and large housing complexes. At the same time, we will continue to identify and vet manufacturers in order to secure production capacity for PPE and other needed medical supplies.

This is our way of assisting those in need as we continue to fight this pandemic together. More than anything, we are grateful for the essential and front-line workers who risk their lives each day to ensure specific services are provided where it is needed the most. We can all do our part to help flatten the curve!
