Not every friendly face is safe to pet. When you see an unfamiliar dog or cat, it’s tempting to say hello. But remember, if it isn’t your pet, you don’t know its health or vaccination status. Rabies can be carried by any mammal, not just wild animals.
⚠️ If you’re bitten or scratched by any unfamiliar animal, seek medical care immediately.
