You may have seen the Abortion Pill advertised online. While convenient, the vast majority of these products might be ineffective, counterfeit, tainted and unsafe.

The EPPC’s new study shows that 1 in 10 women experience serious side effects, and the FDA has issued warnings about the dangers of ordering these pills online. Reddit is also full of examples of women who have experienced severe complications from the drugs they received by mail.

Additionally, there is inherent risk when the Abortion Pill is taken without confirmation of pregnancy and knowledge of gestational age. That’s why it is important to seek ultrasound confirmation before deciding.

At Life Choices, we provide limited ultrasounds at no cost to the client. Her health and safety, as well as confidentiality, are a priority for us. While we do not refer for or perform abortions, we are committed to providing accurate information on all of a woman’s pregnancy options, allowing her to make an empowered choice.
