A Truly Remarkable Milestone at Person Memorial Hospital!
Today, we had the absolute honor of celebrating Ms. Jessie Baird, a cherished member of our Environmental Services Team, who has been part of the Person Memorial Hospital family for 65 YEARS!
Yes, you read that right — 65 years of dedication, care, and service to our patients, staff, and community. Ms. Baird has been a constant source of kindness, hard work, and inspiration for generations of PMH employees.
And that’s not all — she’ll be celebrating her 85th birthday on December 31st! What an incredible blessing and example of loyalty and love for her work.
Our Surgical Services Team surprised Ms. Baird with beautiful flowers and a special anniversary card to mark this amazing occasion.
Please join us in congratulating Ms. Jessie Baird on 65 extraordinary years with PMH — a legacy of dedication that truly defines what it means to serve with heart.

Our Person Memorial Hospital Surgical Team carved out some time to celebrate Spooky Season with a frightfully fun “Spooky Treats” lunch!
From boo-tifully decorated desserts to monstrously creative snacks, the creativity was truly off the chain!
We’re stitching up smiles and serving up scares — one spooky bite at a time!

It's important to know the early signs of breast cancer, because spotting them early can save lives. Watch for:

- A new lump or thickening in the breast or underarm
- Changes in breast size, shape, or texture
- Ni**le changes or unusual discharge
- Skin dimpling, redness, or scaling
- Pain in any area of the breast

If you notice any changes, contact your healthcare provider.

Get ready for some spooky fun! The Person Memorial Hospital Extended Care Unit (ECU) is excited to invite the community to our special Halloween celebration!
Join us for a festive evening of candy, music, and lots of fun with our residents and staff!

When: Friday, October 31st
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Where: ECU Activity Room (at Person Memorial Hospital)

Come dressed in your favorite costume (family-friendly, please!) and help us celebrate the season!
