First-up on our “Meet our Board Members” series is Jacob Lazarus, MD, PhD, who joined Fenway’s Board of Directors last month. ✨

Jacob is a physician in the Infectious Disease Division and a Medical Director of Infection Control at the Massachusetts General Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Prior to coming to Boston, Jacob graduated from Cornell University with highest honors and earned an MD and PhD from the University of Pennsylvania.

Join us for Trans Health Surgery Info Session Series: Metoidioplasty and Hysterectomy on Thursday, September 18th at 6:00 PM. We will hear from the skilled team at Beth Israel and Fenway Health about surgery options, discuss insurance and administrative considerations, as well as nonmedical preparation and resources for surgery. We will also have time for questions and mingling in community and with the Beth Israel and Fenway Trans Health teams. Refreshments will be served!

These surgery info sessions are intentional events meant to connect community members to accessible information and resources that support empowered decision making.
