Happy National Pet Day! Ours bring so much joy and love to our lives - and the recent additions also provide food…. There are so many benefits to having pets - teaching our kids responsibility and compassion, companionship, cuddling on demand, and endless entertainment.

And that’s a wrap! Really enjoyed the meeting last week in San Antonio. I would like to thank Jed Kuhn for the opportunity, along with my meeting co-chairs Edwin Spencer and , and amazing ASES staff Angela and Shannon for a great planning experience. It was very rewarding to see the different sessions ‘come to life’ thanks to the expertise of our members.
Enjoyed catching up with friends and mentors, and finally remembered to take some pictures with them! Honored to now be a part of the Neer Circle, and to support the and our ASES multi-center study groups.

One of the most fun, and interesting things I have been apart of is the Influencer Series. This is where truly inspirational colleagues are selected to answer questions about themselves, and what drives them to do what they do. This year I had the honor to be the moderator for .westie and last year for . I learned an incredible amount from both who are true leaders in the field!

As summer winds down, many of us will be reaching for rakes and other yard equipment. If your shoulder starts to hurt, a little combination of rest, stretching, and heat/cold therapy will usually bring relief.
