Social Impact Center Each evening starts with dinner, followed by welcoming remarks by Rev. Liz Walker. It’s a very good feeling.

The Social Impact Center develops and implement educational, social, cultural, mental, and physical well being programs designed to promote and serve the surrounding communities of Roxbury, Massachusetts, and beyond. Then a saxophone soloist sets the tone, after which one by one people share their stories. Over the course of the evening, artists Wyatt Jackson and Robin Lee also share offerings of

dance and song. “The Trauma Program gives you a sense of purpose—you turn what you’ve been through into helping others and that helps you heal. You can heal by giving back.”
