A large group of Roxbury EMS members attended a special EMS Symposium at Hotchkiss School in Lakeville today. Titled Managing the Mayhem, the members attended lectures and workshops dealing with some of the hardest, least predictable incidents that anymore in Emergency Medical Services encounter: The Mass Casualty Incident. It could be a mass shooting, a hurricane, or another incident that overtaxes the resources immediately available to an EMS agency. Roxbury EMS is blessed to have many talented and dedicated individuals serving Roxbury and the surrounding towns. A good time was had by all.
