From our friends at The Arc of Northwest Wayne County - check out their toy lending program, Lekotek.

What is Lekotek?
Lekotek is a toy lending library with over 2,000 toys for kids with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Why join Lekotek?
Toys are expensive, and kids often tire of the same ones. With Lekotek, you and your family can take out any six toys each month to help reinforce therapies and learning between your Beaumont sessions, help you work on your child's progress toward their developmental goals, and save you money from buying new toys. You may also have a play session with a certified play leader once COVID restrictions are lifted.

It's only $50 for the year to join (this also includes a full-year membership to The Arc of Northwest Wayne County and access to all of its resources), but there are also scholarships for those who need it. Please contact Lana Richardson, the Lekotek Leader, at lrichardson@thearcnw.org to learn more.

At this time, all our in-person appointments are on hold due to the need to minimize the spread of the virus. As you know, "social distancing" doesn't work so well for our programming.

Please know that the TLF HOPE team is dedicated to supporting our patients and families in this challenging time. We are actively working out the best ways to stay connected and maintain your family's progress. Stay tuned to hear more about what we will be able to offer.
