Only another month of outdoor yoga sessions left! It’s been a great summer teaching ❤️ My home studio will be closed again this winter due to Covid until my young children in the house are vaccinated, hopefully by spring 🤞🏻 Feel free to reach out to me via email or Instagram as I’m booking up spring sessions now. In the meantime, you can follow my personal page but I mostly just post photos of my kids and cat 😊 And you can follow my other projects- ready, set, cheer podcast (starting up again November) on anywhere you listen to your podcasts, and a new platform we are working on to highlight women in sports! Follow us ✌🏻Finally, tutoring students k-12 only over Zoom this year until further notice😎 Stay healthy!

We’re baaaaaaack!! 🤩 I’m so excited to start outdoor yoga sessions with clients, both returning and new! 🧘🏻‍♀️This has been a crazy year but I’m so grateful to be teaching again, even with all the starts and stops that the pandemic brought us. I was just telling my husband and mom that I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with the amount of people that reached out to me looking for private yoga sessions. I’m trying to fit everyone in and still working on the schedule, but as of now, I have a few daytime sessions left for Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the spring and summer. Message me if you’d like to get started!

For your own peace of mind, I am fully vaccinated. We still practice outside to keep us both healthy and safe. I am hoping to reopen my home yoga space as the Covid-19 numbers in our community continue to decline. I am happy to wear a mask and/or stay 6ft apart if that makes you feel more comfortable. For now, I am asking clients to bring their own mats and props that they may need. I am also going to respect your space and stay off your mat for adjustments and modifications. My family and I take Covid seriously and we are happy to do our part to keep you and our community healthy and safe! I hope you will do the same for me ❤️

I can’t wait to see you on the mat soon!! 🙌 ✨ 🤸🏻‍♀️

One day I’ll see all my clients again 😢 Stay strong and sweet during this time while we are apart 😊💪🏻

Surrender to the craziness of this time 💙 (but also...just unfollow people on SM that make your blood boil with their ignorant opinions [yes, opinions, not facts] and selfishness. It’s not worth letting them upset your inner peace as you sit here trying to do the right thing [yeah, like this time isn’t hard for everyone 🙄]. You don’t need their vibe. Here’s your permission to Get. Rid. Of. Them. Then go do yoga, move your body, breathe it out, and let that crap go! 🙏😆) 🌎💖✌🏻

Be kind to our planet, today and everyday! Today I taught my kiddos how to compost, we watched some kid friendly videos on how to reduce, reuse & recycle, and tested out my new veggie bags to keep them fresh longer (very important these days!) but also to reduce the need for plastic fruit/veggie bags at the store! This is our only home, please do your part to take care of it. 🌳🌞🌎

I’ve been working on balancing and healing my chakras during this quarantine. I’ve sat with different emotions during this time, starting out with fear for the people around us and for my family, fear for the front line, fear for the unknown of long we’d have to stay in our homes, fear that my husband or I (or worse my parents) could get sick-or both and how would we care for our children if that happened. The fear turned to sadness for all the lives lost in our country thus far, and around the world. I’ve felt frustration from what I’ve seen people post on social media and what I’ve seen on the news. I’ve felt immense gratitude for having the privilege to stay in my home with my husband and children to keep us and others around us safe. Gratitude for having a house and access to food. Trying to balance all these emotions and more while you are trying to balance everything else (kids, work, cooking, house, everyone else’s experience with this quarantine in the same home, etc) is hard! I’m working with the root chakra- to feel safe and secure to manifest our basic needs. When this chakra is in balance we feel connected to nature, have an understanding that we will always be provided for, and connect to our families in healthy ways. My thought is that this chakra is a hard one for many people to stay in balance right now. When it’s out of balance people function out of fear to get their needs met, and I think many of us have seen this with people hoarding food or angry protesting despite the fact we are trying to prevent the spread of a novel illness. But we’ve also seen many people step up for their neighbors, doctors and nurses fighting on the frontline, people sending food and reaching out to friends in need. It’s an interesting time and everyone’s experience with this will be different. I have my different essential oils and crystals for this one, but as far as yoga goes... focus on balance, stability, and support. Try Warrior I, Warrior II, Tree, and Chair. Try restorative poses such as Bound Angle, Co**se, and Child’s Pose. Focus on grounding and the color red 🧘🏻‍♀️ ❤️🥰🧣🌹🍎🍓🍅

There is still time to save our planet. This should be a top priority for EVERYONE, regardless of your political or personal beliefs. It’s always something I’ve been interested in and passionate about (ask me about the Pink Ladies Club I started from my childhood and saving the whales 🐳 😄🌈)This world-wide quarantine shows us it CAN be done, but it takes sacrifice on everyone’s part to avoid doing the things that are bad for the environment-even if it’s only for a few days or weeks. Look at how it has made a difference already 🌎⭐️ This virus shows us we are all connected and our actions do affect others, even the action of one. I’ve been thinking a lot about what I can do for the planet during this time. On my list is learning how to compost (I tried it a year or so ago and it didn’t go well- I just attracted all sorts of critters outside 😳) and completely giving up plastic bags-even the ones to put veggies in at the store. Making it a point to use ALL reusables. It’s hard remembering to have them in the car and bring them into the store then put them back in the car! I’m trying to figure out how to recycle my kids pouches- so far I’ve only come up with a very expensive solution of buying a special box for almost $100 and shipping it to New Jersey where they can recycle them (they are made with multi-layer plastic). I make my own fruit/veggie pouches too with reusable pouches, but it takes a lot of time. I walk the kids in the stroller whenever I’m going somewhere a mile or less from my house. I’m doing small things. There is so much more I can do. What can you do? We need to take care of our home, we don’t have a back-up plan.
