Most of our in-person classes are also taught simultaneously via livestream/virtually. We believe that yoga is for everyone. Yoga is attained by showing up, by practicing, and by moving with your greatest teacher: your own breath. Since 2000, Namaste Yoga has offered a 200-hour Yoga Alliance registered teacher training course.

This restorative class is intentionally designed to help you learn and practice practical nervous system regulation skills, tools that support your body in coming out of chronic fight-or-flight and into states of safety, steadiness, and clarity. This practice can help you learn skills to find balance.

This class is led by Dr. Cassandra Barragan Ph.D., MSW, a mental health researcher and yoga educator specializing in stress, resilience, and the importance of building community.

In our current climate, many of us are living with a baseline level of stress that doesn’t switch off. Ongoing global conflict, uncertainty, and constant exposure to distressing news can keep the nervous system on high alert, even when we are physically safe. Over time, this sustained activation affects sleep, digestion, mood, focus, and our capacity to connect with others.

Through fully supported restorative postures, gentle breath practices, guided awareness, and intentional rest, this class offers a structured space to downshift the nervous system. You’ll be invited to notice patterns of tension and learn how to respond to stress with skill rather than force.

This is not about escaping reality or “calming down.” It’s about building resilience, restoring balance, and strengthening your ability to stay present, thoughtful, and engaged, on and off the mat.

No experience needed. Come as you are.
Free to everyone, but donations are welcome.

I’ve walked past this a thousand times. I even have one at home. Today, it hit differently.

As Rachel and I were preparing for the Christmas Eve practice, the question that kept returning was the why of Restorative Yoga, why we practice it, especially when life feels full, loud, or heavy.

Restorative yoga is a practice. It’s training of our nervous system to come out of the ever constant stress-cycle most of us are in right now. Our bodies are doing what they’re supposed to be doing by keeping us on high-alert, but it’s taking a toll. We realized that there is a feeling of collective heartbreak and grief that leaves us feeling disconnected and wondering what to do.

We want to feel safe, aware, and empowered. We need to find courage to name these feelings and use them to fuel our resistance and our joy. We want to find peace amongst the chaos and the hard work to come.

🫶🏼 I needed these reminders today and am so grateful for Rachel and to help put these feelings into words that serve as reminders why we practice yoga.

If you’re around Wednesday afternoon, we invite you to spend an hour with us. Donation-based. Pay what you can. Come as you are.

This Sunday join Kyla and Cassie for a Cueing with Confidence Workshop! This isn’t your average “stand at the front and talk” kind of training, it’s a lively, interactive workshop designed to help yoga teachers (brand-new or seasoned pros) find their voice and master the magic of cueing.

We’ve all been there. You finish your 200-hour training ready to teach and then realize that giving clear, concise instructions without constantly demonstrating is harder than it looks. Even if you're a seasoned pro, finding new language or ways to cue can be challenging. That’s where we come in.

Your guides? Kyla Remus, E-RYT 500, whose decades-long reputation for packed, joyful classes speaks for itself, and Cassie Barragan, RYT 200, an educator who blends her teaching expertise with her love for yoga. Together, they bring a perfect balance of experience, creativity, and fun to help you refine your teaching skills.

In this workshop, you’ll:
✨Learn how to give clear, confident cues that land every time.
✨Develop new skills to meet your students where they are
✨Create a safe, inclusive space where all students feel supported.
✨Build your confidence so you can lead classes with ease (and a little flair).

Whether you’re stepping into your very first class or looking to level up your cueing game, you’ll leave with practical tools, a fresh burst of confidence, and maybe even a few new yoga teacher friends.

Come ready to laugh, learn, and cue like a pro. Your students will thank you.

THANK YOU to everyone who showed up, moved, breathed, donated, and shared space with us for our donation-based yoga class benefitting the Love Your Brain Foundation. The credit truly goes to Stefanie who made sure this event happened and for creating such beautiful energy when she teaches. 🙏🏼

Our goal was $500 and together, we raised $631!
