As we gather around the table this Thanksgiving, I'm filled with such profound gratitude. As an orthopedic surgeon, I'm thankful beyond words for the ability to do the work I love - helping patients regain their mobility and quality of life. It's a true blessing to play a role in restoring people's health and independence, thanks to the trust our patients place in us. I'm also incredibly thankful for our wonderful staff, who keep patient care at the forefront every single day. Their dedication, compassion, and tireless efforts allow us to provide the best possible experience and outcomes for those in our care.
But even more than that, I'm grateful for the warmth of my own home, the abundance of delicious food before me, and most of all, the cherished company of my loved ones. This time of year always makes me reflect on how fortunate we are.
There are empty chairs at our table this year, as I'm sure is the case for many of you. But in honoring the memories of those we've lost, we keep their spirits alive. Their legacies live on through the love we share and the way we care for one another.
As I count my blessings, I'm reminded of the true meaning of Thanksgiving - pausing to appreciate all that we have, even amidst life's challenges. May your hearts and homes be full of gratitude, joy, and the comfort of beloved traditions. God bless you and your loved ones this Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving!
