My expertise is coming along side individuals who want to create more balance and wellness in their lives as well as those who have experienced various forms of trauma - from sexual abuse and assault to traumatic grief and loss to complex trauma. On the outside, it may seem like everything is fine - you are successful and have it all together - those around you always wonder how you do it all. But on the inside, you might be overwhelmed, falling apart or carrying an unbearable weight on your shoulders, feel alone and isolated, or scattered. You are searching for a breath of fresh air, a sense of calm, and hope. I work with individuals to learn which areas of their life they need to improve, including: relationships, self-image, boundaries, safety, and coping skills. In our work together we practice mindfulness, self-soothing and coping skills, creating routine and rituals, healthy boundaries and values exploration/ development. I am committed to giving my clients a warm and welcoming, safe place to share and express themselves authentically. I work from an empowerment, holistic, and wellness perspective. I believe choice, grounding, mindfulness and self-care are essential to ones growth and healing - all of which we will work on and practice together through therapy.
