We have a family that is looking for someone or an agency to transport their brother to our program; he lives in Harleysville. He has been attending Bon Homie for several years, and the usual transportation sources don't have a route for his area. If anyone knows someone that would be interested in helping (could be someone that is retired, or an agency) please let us know. Please feel free to share this request with family and friends.

We had the pleasure of celebrating one of our clients 100th birthdays today.

The Bon Homie Adult Day Services staff would like to take this opportunity to wish all our clients, caregivers and friends a Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah. Yesterday we had a fun filled day with holiday activities. Holiday music entertainment with Carmen, clients and staff enjoyed singing and dancing throughout the morning. Rudolph came to visit in the afternoon, thank you to Robin Rosenberg (Rudolph) and her helper Lisa Ann Zarzecki for taking the time to visit and making our day extra special. We ended our day with Janet Metz Jones Kugler hosting Reindeer Games
with our staff and clients. Such a fun day. Have a great holiday everyone, will see you on Friday.

On Friday Bon Homie hosted a holiday party with hot chocolate and pastries. Clients, caregivers and staff enjoyed the holiday atmosphere and goodies. Afterwards JJ hosted holiday games, starring our caregivers, who were competitive and fearless.
There was lot of laughter and good cheer!

Holiday Shopping in the shed! Every year we open a makeshift Holiday store at Bon Homie so our clients can shop for their friends and family for Christmas and Hannukah. This year we were fortunate that our Parents Group took on this task and they did not disappoint. The theme in the shed was winter wonderland and they decorated the shed inside and out with snowflakes, trees with white lights, snowmen, and twinkle lights everywhere. It was very festive. Staff escorted clients out to the shed and along with the volunteers helped our clients pick out items for the special people in their lives. When they finished shopping, they enjoyed working on a craft. Many of the items in the shed were donated by our caregivers which is a tremendous help because our clients shop free of charge. A big "Thank you" to our parents group for planning, setting up and running this activity. Also for making it such a special week for our clients.
