This ticks me off.
It evokes a weird emotion that I struggle to put into words.
A mix of feelings.
Angry at the medical system for such crap care.
Defiant and motivated to make sure people like you have the knowledge, tools, and support needed to heal naturally.
Sad, knowing I can’t save everyone from unnecessary pain, pills, shots, or surgery.
Reflective- questioning why I’ve made it my mission to change the world and why I care so dang much
Called upon- to say “screw you” to my own feelings and do what’s needed to help as many people as possible.
Check it out (see pic)... a message I got the other day… from someone who’s seen more doctors than you can count with fingers and toes… yet, still he’s suffering from back pain. This message is in response to a visit he had with his P*P who thinks his disc is causing his chronic back pain…
My first feelings… anger... frustration.
No exam
No testing.
No real conversation
Just:
“You can get an injection”
“Or we can shave the disc down”
“But you’ll be fine… just strengthen your core.”
This man left with more questions than answers.
More worried than ever.
And hurting more than he had before.
It’s a daily battle.
Not just helping people with back, butt, or sciatica pain heal…
…but unwinding the fear, doubt, and hopelessness that the system plants in their mind…
In your mind.
In our minds.
Which shows up in our body and keeps us stuck in fear.
Afraid to move.
Thinking we need them.
Rather than feeling capable of healing ourselves.
Stand your ground.
Keep searching.
