Body Contouring/Cavitation Q&A:
What is Body Contouring/Cavitation?
Cavitation is a non-invasive fat reduction esthetic service that uses ultrasound and radio frequency technology to reduce fat cells and tighten skin in targeted parts of the body. It is the preferred option for anyone who does not want to undergo extreme options such as liposuction, it is NONINVASIVE...as in, it does not involve any needles, surgery, or down time. - therefore technically, it’s NOT a medical procedure- but instead an esthetic service!
This machine will help with the areas of the body you struggle to get into shape- no matter how much you work out, some areas are just stubborn! This service is also amazing for people who have had large amounts of weight loss.
The Radio Frequency part of this service will tighten skin AND MUSCLE, along with triggering the body to naturally produce collagen to again tighten the skin WITH OUT SURGERY OR INVASIVE SURGICAL PROCEDURES!
Although results may very- they’re pretty promising!
Side effects:
There are virtually NO side effects, However on rare occasions there may be a slight possibility of mild side effects such as redness where the esthetic service was performed, excessive thirst, or nausea immediately after the treatment which is invariably resolved by drinking water. These are all short-term effects that disappear in a few hours (& again they’re VERY RARE). You may also feel tightness where the service was provided - almost as if you just did a work out.
How does body cavitation work?
Body Cavitation is a two part service including low-frequency ultrasound and radio frequency waves to burst fat cells, transforming their contents into free fatty acids that are naturally disposed of by the lymphatic system. This process results in inches lost on the areas the service was performed. (Results will vary between clients body types and their lifestyle choices).
Does cavitation help with weight loss?
Studies have shown that Ultrasonic Cavitation is extremely effective at reducing cellulite, removing fat and providing body shaping. (Although results may vary in clients).
Ultrasonic Cavitation is extremely safe. During the 25-40 minute treatment, the process is comfortable and COMPLETELY painless.
How often can you do cavitation?
I like to follow the protocol of NO more than 40 minutes of Ultrasonic Cavitation & Radio Frequency every 72 hours. The time however, can be split between opposite sides of the body. Example 10-20 minutes on the left thigh and 10-20 minutes on the right thigh (& arms ect).
How many inches can you lose with cavitation?
You will see IMMEDIATE RESULTS AFTER JUST ONE SESSION! But, You should allow 72 hours before expecting the complete result of your session. Clients will have a noticeable reduction in their measurements after the session, some studies have recorded 5 inches lost in just one session, however the average is a 2 inch loss per session.
How long does the service take to do?
20-40 minutes. Typically a single session lasts thirty minutes when treating a single part of the body. There is a minimum of 72 hours required between each session so the body can finish the elimination of the fat.
For the best results, I would recommend a series of 8-12 sessions- but this depends on the area of the body & your goal for the area of the body. I have had clients reach their body goal in just 2-3 sessions.
Are ultrasonic cavitation results permanent?
Results will continue to improve for several weeks following the last cavitation session. The body will continue to metabolize fat through the lymphatic system for up to TWELVE weeks- which means that for most people the reduction of fat and tightening of the body part(s) will be permanent.
(Again results may vary and it is up to you to follow post cavitation directions and maintain a healthy life style). This esthetic service will also leave your skin firmer and smoother looking than before.
Does cavitation get rid of cellulite?
Ultrasound Cavitation is a completely non-invasive treatment that emits low ultrasonic & radio frequency waves into the cellulite ridden areas of the body to help reduce fat cells that cause the appearance of cellulite. ... This advanced technology is one of the only ways to reduce the appearance of stubborn cellulite by tightening and smoothing the skin.
How much water should I drink after cavitation?
To ensure your body responds well to ultrasound fat cavitation, drink 1.5L of water prior to and following your service. Stagger 2L intake of water over 24 hours then for three days post-cavitation session. Always carry a large bottle with you to encourage water intake. Exercise will also help speed along the process! Again you will get the best results from this service if you’re adding it into a healthy life style.
Where does the fat go after cavitation?
Ultrasound Cavitation is an esthetic service that mimics “Liposuction” type results. It emulsifies fat and coverts solid fat into a liquid substance that is easy to remove through the lymphatic and urinary systems. (This is why drinking tons of water before and after the service is so important). Some of the melted fat will be used for energy and the rest will be excreted through the urine, sweat, and in some cases through BMs – again, that is why drinking water is so crucial to obtain optimal results!
I know that was ALOT to read, but please let me know if you have any other questions! ☺️
