✅ Your HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP) must be updated AND redistributed.
And don’t miss this part: 42 C.F.R. Part 2 is still enforceable (Substance Use Disorder confidentiality). If your notices, authorizations, and written policies don’t match what you’re actually doing, that’s where offices get exposed.
