Just finished seeing a 6 week old cute little girl that came to us after being in a car accident when she was only 2 weeks old. Yes she was in her car seat facing the correct way when the car was "T-Boned" on her side of the car which went into a spin and ended up in the medium! She had no "medical" or obvious injuries thank goodness but was not feeding normally, crankier and cried violently when put in her car seat after the accident. First week of chiropractic at 2 Weeks Old 3 upper cervical adjustments and she slept wonderfully and was much less cranky. 2nd week (now 3 weeks old) she resumed feeding normally and was calm when placed in her car seat. Now at 6 weeks old and growin' like a w**d, she sleeps almost through the night and is calm and happy!

Yet her pediatrician said there was no scientific evidence that a 1 week old should need or see a chiropractor! I have been caring for babies for almost 40 yrs as chiropractor and beg to differ. There are many published peer-reviewed papers on the benefits to newborn infants and many on pregnant moms feelling better and having easier deliveries when being under regular chiropractic care BEFORE giving birth. Go do your research Mr. Pediatrician instead of making ignorant statements to your patients.
