Direct Primary Care

I grew up in Charlottesville, and am excited to offer direct primary care to Greene County and the surrounding area. For a simple monthly “membership” fee, patients have direct access to their personal doctor (not a mid-level provider), unlimited office visits, unhurried appointments without long wait times, transparent pricing, and access to the most affordable lab testing available in our area. I am happy to see children and adults of all ages. Our simple price structure is: $70/month for adults and $30/month for children under age 18 (discounted to $15/month if accompanied by an adult member), or $125/month per adult couple. Patients can use insurance to pay for imaging, lab work, specialist referrals if needed. Membership fees may be reimburseable by FSA programs and some health plans.

I offer 17 years of clinical experience as a board certified family physician. After graduating from medical school at the University of Virginia in 1998, I completed residency in Family Medicine at Valley Medical Center with the University of Washington. I returned east to practice in a medically underserved area of western North Carolina for 8 years before moving home to Charlottesville to be closer to family. I have worked with a terrific team of doctors at Sentara Forest Lakes Family Medicine since 2009. Now I am ready to “go back in time” to more personalized, old fashioned medicine where the doctor has time to listen and heal, and not be drowned by the demands of larger, corporate entities. Instead of spending time selecting diagnostic codes and filing claims, I have time to research clinical problems, communicate with specialists, and talk directly with my patients. Please contact our office anytime to schedule a free “meet and greet” to see if my practice can meet your needs.
