Namaste :) Yoga has changed my life in such miraculous ways that it only seems fitting that I share this gift of Health and Wellness with those around me. I have found Yoga to be the most comfortable way to explore self acceptance and self-love and I encourage all to dive deep into their heart through asanas, freeform movement, laughter and love. Through Yoga, I have been able to find ground and r

elease excess energy back into the world in a flowing creative cycle. I teach a variety of classes in the Santa Fe focusing on Self Love and Self Care. My classes follow the natural progression of the human body throughout its life cycle. It is my Intent to inspire students to embrace self love through movement exploration and meditative stillness.

🌬️ Nurturing Balance for Vata Types on Windy Days 🌬️

In Ayurveda, the Vata constitution is associated with the elements of air and ether, bringing qualities of lightness, mobility, dryness, and creativity. Vata types are often lively and energetic but can become imbalanced when there is too much movement—like during windy weather—which can leave them feeling scattered, anxious, or ungrounded.

How to Soothe Vata During Windy Days:

1. Stay Warm & Cozy: Windy days bring a chill that can unsettle Vata. Wrap yourself in soft, warm layers and enjoy grounding teas like ginger or chamomile.
2. Oil Up: Vata types benefit from oiling the skin for warmth and grounding. Try massaging sesame or almond oil onto your body in the morning or before bed.
3. Savor Warm, Nourishing Foods: Cooked, warming foods like soups, stews, and root veggies, plus spices like turmeric and cinnamon, help balance Vata’s light, dry nature.
4. Slow Down & Stay Present: Practice gentle movements like slow yoga or deep breathing to calm your mind and reconnect.
5. Create a Cozy Space: Light candles or burn grounding essential oils like lavender or sandalwood to bring a sense of stability to your environment.
