When receiving a diagnosis or hearing about them it can be scary, oftentimes feeling labeled. When we look at them as an explanation, rather than an identifier, it can take some of the weight away. We will have countless experiences in life that will affect us, but that does not mean we become the things we have experienced.

Keep moving forward. Things in our past may shape how we view and feel about situations today, but that doesn’t mean our past has to define who we are going to be. Be kind to yourself, learn from our past, and grow into who you strive to be. One day at a time, keep moving forward.
