Create & Connect | Lego Prints
The Hub is partnering with Schuyler County Mental Health Association to create a series of free activities for adults who want to socialize in a creative environment. In this months event we will be using legos to design our own prints!

SCMHA to Host Fundraiser in Honor of Dr. Dohner
Dr. Dohner was Schuyler County Mental Health Association’s Medical Director for many years.
He was a devoted healer in the truest sense. He left a legacy of kindness, selflessness, humility,
and nobility behind when he passed peacefully in his sleep on Aug. 7, 2015.
In honor of his service, the Schuyler County Mental Health Association will host an Ice Cream
Shoppe Fundraiser on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025 from 1-5 p.m. in the Schuyler County Food Bank
Building, located directly behind the SCMHA facility, 127 S. Liberty St., Rushville. We encourage
you and your family to come out and share your fondest memories on the “legendary” Dr.
Dohner index cards. These memories will be collaged and then framed in memory of his 58
years of service as Rushville’s $5 doctor.
Our agency will also be collecting monetary donations at the Ice Cream Shoppe Fundraiser.
When making a donation, you will receive a coupon for a scoop of ice cream. This coupon is a
replica of what Dr. Dohner gave his young patients who showed “bravery in the doctor’s office
beyond the call of duty”.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards funding projects through Schuyler County
Mental Health. Save the date, Aug. 21, 2025 from 1-5 p.m. We look forward to seeing you!

We attended the Schuyler County Back to School Fair on Friday. We had the pleasure of introducing our Dentist, Amit, to the community. Check out our page for more upcoming events and updates.

This past Saturday was the Annual Tables for Transformation. The recipient this year was Schuyler Veteran's Homes. Here are the tables we decorated for the event. A good time was had by all with good food and great conversation. We also appreciated the opportunity to share some updates since Project Restoration was the recipient last year. 😄
