At Russell County Hospital, we’re committed to helping our community recognize the signs of stroke and reduce the risk of another one. Did you know that 1 in 4 stroke survivors will have another stroke?

Prevention starts with:
✔️ Managing blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes
✔️ Making healthy lifestyle choices
✔️ Taking medications as prescribed
✔️ Keeping follow-up appointments

Small steps can make a big difference. If you or a loved one has experienced a stroke or TIA, talk with your healthcare provider about a prevention plan that’s right for you.

And remember — if you notice warning signs of a stroke, call 911 immediately. Time matters. ⏱️
