We were absolutely thrilled to welcome the Greenup County Master Garden Club to our campus — and so grateful they invited our Lantern residents to join in! Their talented members helped us plant beautiful succulents, and the best part? Everyone got to take their little plant home to enjoy. 💚🌱✨

We’re all feeling extra thankful this November as we get into the Thanksgiving spirit! 🍂🦃

Residents had a great time getting creative with puff-paint turkeys — a fun way to spark conversation, share memories, and enjoy time together. As everyone painted, the stories started flowing: favorite family traditions, the foods they look forward to each year, and the people who make this season meaningful. 🧡

November always reminds us to slow down and appreciate the little things, but we’re grateful year-round for our wonderful residents, dedicated associates, and the joy that comes from being part of such a caring community. Here’s to a month filled with gratitude, laughter, and maybe a little extra pumpkin pie. 🥧💛

Our hearts were full last week as the ROTC from Russell High School visited the Lantern to honor our veterans. Their flag-folding ceremony was powerful, respectful, and emotional — a moment that touched everyone in the room. We’re so grateful for these remarkable young men and women who took time to recognize the heroes who live among us. 🇺🇸❤️

After the ceremony, it was time for something sweet! 🍰😋
Residents rolled up their sleeves for a fun Cheesecake Cooking Class, mixing up creamy fillings and piling on their favorite toppings — strawberries, blueberries, caramel drizzle, and more. The Russell ROTC even joined in for the treat, and let’s just say… not a single crumb was left!

Moments like these remind us why community — across generations — means so much. 💛
