One of the most meaningful moments in the HOPE Program is when students see their loved ones in action.

Ironton St. Joseph student Eli Whaley had the chance to observe his dad, Anesthesia Services Manager Andy Whaley, during our Surgical Services rotation.

Russell students Cayden and Jayden Pennington also got a glimpse into their mom’s world, visiting Emergency Department Senior Nurse Leader Amanda Clark.

Moments like these go beyond career exploration, they’re a powerful reminder that inspiration often starts at home. The HOPE Program has the potential to inspire the next generation of patient care tomorrow.

HOPE Rotation Spotlight 🔦
Echocardiography and EKG 🫀

From capturing real-time images of the heart to analyzing electrical rhythms, students get to explore how these roles play a critical part in diagnosing and monitoring cardiac health in this rotation.

EKG Technicians also talk to students about the importance of heart health from a young age, which includes limiting those energy drinks. 🔋
