Introducing our July Caregiver of the Month...Mrs. Diana West!!

Mrs. Diana always goes above and beyond for our clients. She has a servants heart and cares so deeply for our clients. She is a team player through and through. She always has a smile on her face and has no problem stepping up to the plate when we need her. Our clients love her, and we do too!

We asked Mrs. Diana what being a Caregiver means to her:

"To me, caregiving means being a help in that special persons life in their time of need and going above and beyond in any way possible to show them the love of Jesus. Whether it be cleaning their house, cooking them a homemade meal, or just sitting and visiting. Since I was a young adult, I have felt the pull to help those in need because several family members had medical conditions. I also find so much joy in getting to meet and get acquainted with each person that comes along. I wouldn't trade the friendships I have made for the world."

We've grown!

We are so excited to announce the addition of our new Recruiting and Training Coordinator, Madison Greene! Madison has been a valued member of our caregiving team here at Russellville for a year now, and we are confident that she will excel in her new role! We asked Madison what this new role meant to her:

Caregiver Spotlight!

Cyera Durham is a fantastic caregiver and teammate! She routinely goes all in for her client, their families, and her teammates. Her clients and their families love her and request her services.

We asked her what caregiving means to her.

In her own words:

"Caregiving to me means showing up and out for people. It's not just a job- it's about being there for someone in their home during a vulnerable time. It's also about kindness and patience. I chose caregiving because, as a kid, I always wanted to help people in whatever capacity that may be. Seeing someone feel safe and comfortable means the world to me, and that's how I know I'm making a difference."

We discussed collaborating across all senior care and service organizations to help each other identify the "missing puzzle piece" and provide the best care possible for the families we all serve. A big shout out to the team at Brookdale Russellville for working so hard to bring these outstanding teams and people together and for being such gracious hosts!

Dardanelle Regional hosts two dementia caregivers support groups a month!

✅ Tuesday, July 1 from 5:00–6:00 pm at the Dardanelle Community Center.
✅ Tuesday, July 8 from 1:00–2:00 pm at the Pope County Senior Center.

Led by Tiffany Horton, a certified Alzheimer's Arkansas facilitator, the group is designed for family members affected by Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Each support group meets monthly on the first and second Tuesday of the month.
