Hello Music Families!!
Hope you’re staying warm and having some fun in the snow! Here’s an awesome video of how to make some musical instruments at home with supplies you can find in the house. This is a great idea while snowed in!
Note-for the shakers, you can use smaller water bottles and fill with rice, beans, or marbles-whatever you can think of! I love the idea of using different materials to make different sounds while you shake. Don’t fill it all the way up so there’s room for the material to shake around. PLEASE glue the cap on, they dont do that in the video and it could turn into a choking hazard.
Let your kids lead the music class for you at home!

We will not be having class this Saturday, January 24th, to keep all of our teachers and music families home and safe in the snow (hopefully no ice).
