I’ve been listening to a lot of Dateline lately, so imagine this in that voice…😎
It was a quiet lot.
Too quiet.
The sun was low.
The air still.
And in front of you… a lineup of Priuses.
Not flashy.
Not loud.
Not the kind of car you ever thought you’d be shopping for.
You tell yourself, I’m just looking.
That practicality has never really been your thing.
That this won’t change you.
And yet… it does.
Because when the people showing you the car are the same people who fix them every day…
when every question already has an answer…
the fear starts to fade.
Friends will ask questions.
Is the battery okay?
Isn’t that risky?
Why a Prius?
But standing there, at Fix My Prius,
surrounded by cars they know inside and out…
the decision doesn’t feel impulsive.
It feels smart.
And later, when the math starts mathing…
when the gas station visits are fewer…
when the choice feels strangely obvious…
you understand.
This wasn’t just car shopping.
It was informed.
Intentional.
A plot twist.
And if you listen closely…
you can almost hear it now.
Not the engine.
But the sound of money not being spent.
I’m Keith Morrison.
And this… was The Case of the Prius You Swore You’d Never Buy. 🚗😌
