Today we’re celebrating an incredible graduate who has worked so hard, grown so much, and is ready to take on the next chapter! Watching this journey unfold has been nothing short of inspiring, and we couldn’t be more proud ✨

At the same time, seasons are changing in more ways than one. While some journeys are just beginning, others are gently coming to a close. Grateful for the memories, the growth, and the impact that will carry on long after today.

🎉 We are incredibly proud to celebrate a major accomplishment for our Chief Director of BDS, Scott Lepley!

Scott has been elected by licensed behavior analysts across Louisiana and appointed by the Governor to serve a 4-year term on the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board.

As one of only seven BCBAs on the board, Scott will help oversee licensure, uphold ethical standards, and shape the future of ABA across our state.

This is an incredible honor and a true reflection of Scott’s leadership, expertise, and dedication to the field.

Did you know March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month? 🧡

This observance was established in 1987 by President Ronald Reagan to promote awareness, inclusion, and opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities to live, work, and participate fully in their communities.

Autism Spectrum Disorder is one type of developmental disability that can affect communication, social interaction, and behavior. According to the CDC, about 1 in 31 children in the United States is diagnosed with autism.

Evidence-based services such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy help individuals build communication, social, and daily living skills that support independence and confidence.

This month reminds us of the importance of creating supportive and inclusive communities where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

Yesterday, Our very own Scott Lepley, Chief Director of Behavioral Developmental Services, spoke to a Human Ecology class at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston. 🐾
❤️💙

Scott talked with students about what Applied Behavior Analysis, or ABA therapy, looks like in everyday life. He shared how ABA therapy helps individuals build social skills, daily living skills, and independence, while also highlighting how important caregivers are in supporting long term success.

Scott is passionate about helping people build meaningful careers in ABA therapy. He shared why our Pathways Program at Family Solutions was created and how it provides support, resources, and direction for those who want to grow in this field. By investing in our therapists, we are committed to providing high quality care and continuing to lead with integrity in behavioral health.

We would like to give a big thank you to Amanda Auttonberry for opening her classroom to us and for the hospitality shown while we spent time with her students. We truly appreciate the opportunity to connect and share more about the work we do.
