🛠 Building Your Child’s Coping Toolbox

Every child needs tools to manage frustration, transitions, and sensory challenges. In ABA, we help kids fill their personal coping toolbox with strategies that work for them, such as:
• Deep breathing or blowing bubbles
• Using a favorite fidget
• Requesting a break
• Following a calming visual routine
The more tools they have, the more confident and independent they become in handling big feelings.

🧠 What’s “task analysis”?
In ABA, we break down complex tasks (like brushing teeth or tying shoes) into smaller, teachable steps.
This helps children learn skills more independently and with less frustration.
