April = OT month! 🫶🏼 We had the pleasure of meeting with ULM’s MOT program recently to share about FEES and collaboration between SLPs and OT to achieve common goals. I say it all the time, occupational therapists are some of the most creative people ever! Thank you to all of our local OTs and COTAs for all you do! We hope you are celebrated this month! 💃🏻

Our SLP & Endoscopist, Lezlee Shauf Vincent, was honored at Louisiana Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s annual convention last week receiving the Rita Buller Keller Healthcare Award! The LSHA Rita Buller Keller Healthcare Award is granted annually to a deserving Speech-Language Pathologist or Audiologist demonstrating outstanding medical Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology service in the state of Louisiana. 👏🏼

Our last NSSLHA meeting of the semester is tomorrow😢, April 9th at 5:45 in Walker 2-105. Pizza will be served at the meeting to celebrate how amazing this semester of NSSLHA has been!!🍕🍕🍕Make sure to bring your own drinks.😁
