About our Practice

We are excited to announce that Ruston Eye & Vision is open for business! Dr. Brad Anders, OD provides both medical and routine eye care for patients in Ruston and the surrounding areas. We are providers of many major medical insurance plans as well as major vision plans. If we are not an in-network provider, we will happily file an out of network claim for you! Our goal at Ruston Eye & Vision is to provide a personal experience for each of our patients while providing the highest standard of eye care. Being a family oriented business, we want all of our patients to feel like a part of that family. Our office is conveniently located in Ruston Commons on Farmerville highway just north of East Kentucky Ave. and Burgessville Rd. Meet our Doctor: Dr. Anders graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN where he earned the degree of Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Anders set himself apart with the honor of being selected as "Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities" at both Louisiana Tech and Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Anders received in-depth optometric training through internships at The Eye Center at Southern College of Optometry (Memphis, TN), the Alexandria VA Medical Center (Pineville, LA), and Bossier Family Eye Care (Bossier City, LA). These internships were focused in the following areas: -Primary Eyecare -Standard and Specialty Contact Lenses -Pediatrics and Binocular Vision -Low Vision and Rehabilitation -Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease -Minor Surgical Procedures A native of Winnsboro, LA, Dr. Anders is following in the footsteps of his late father, Dr. David R. Anders, OD. After finishing his optometric education and training, Dr. Anders and his wife, Ashleigh, decided to make their home in Ruston, where the two met while studying at Louisiana Tech. Dr. Anders is licensed to practice optometry in the State of Louisiana and is currently accepting new patients. Be on the lookout for more announcements!
