Dr. Murphy recently completed over 30 hours of advanced, live surgical training with Dr. Pryor—continuing his commitment to bring the highest level of care to our patients.

During this comprehensive course, he performed a Double Arch Immediate-Load Implant Case, where he:

• Removed all remaining natural teeth
• Placed 12 implants
• Delivered upper and lower temporary prosthetics

His patient walked out able to smile and chew immediately.

This is what it looks like when passion meets precision.
This is what it means to never stop learning.

Our hearts are still so full after Give Kids a Smile Day 2026 💙💛✨

At Johnston & Murphy Dental Care, we believe dentistry goes far beyond treating teeth. It is about education, prevention, and empowering the next generation to care for their oral health.

We had the privilege of serving 45 third graders from Ruston Elementary!

They received hands-on learning experiences at interactive educational stations as well as complimentary cleanings, radiographs, and exams.

We feel when children understand why their health matters, it creates habits that last a lifetime.

While we are always grateful for our incredible community partners, this day is also a reflection of our team. Their heart to serve, passion to teach, and genuine care for each child is another way that makes this day so special. Many of them will tell you that this is their favorite day of the year.

We see this day as planting seeds… seeds of knowledge, confidence, and healthy habits that will grow for years to come.

This is more than a day.
