Struggling with balance or feeling unsteady? The Sit to Stand exercise is one of the most effective and functional moves to improve strength, balance, and confidence in daily activities.
How to do it safely:
• Sit toward the front of a sturdy chair
• Keep feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart
• Lean forward slightly and stand up using your legs (use arms lightly if needed)
• Slowly lower back down with control
• Work up to sets of 10
This exercise strengthens your legs, core, and improves balance great for older adults, fall prevention, or anyone recovering from dizziness/vertigo.
