Until it happens to you, it’s impossible to fully understand the ache of losing someone you love. The way you have to keep reminding yourself this isn’t a dream, that they really won’t walk back through the door. The quiet moments when their absence feels louder than anything else in the world. Grief is a sadness that can’t be explained, only carried. So if you haven’t felt it, meet it with compassion. And if you’re in it, please know you’re not alone in the weight of it.
