Happy Birthday to our CFO, Chris “Tophie” Stegall! 🎉

He’s a self-proclaimed numbers nerd, a spreadsheet wizard, and the only person we know who can hear a conversation three rooms over while balancing a budget.

This man builds spreadsheets like most people make a sandwich — quick, layered, and somehow exactly what everybody needed. 📊🥪

Mother’s Day may have already passed, but this story still deserves its moment. 💙

Janascia Armstrong brought the most perfect gift for us to finally meet — and y’all… the lips, the hair, the face. ALL of him. 😍

We’ve known Janascia for almost a decade. Her mama has made that drive from Alexandria to Ruston with her through every season of life — because that’s what a mother’s love does. And now we’re watching Janascia become that same kind of devoted mama for her own baby boy.

Pregnancy changed everything. Her “why” became real, and she showed up for him in the most beautiful way.

Her A1C was 6.3, her Time in Range was right where we wanted it, and she did the work.

Janiah, we are SO proud of you. Thank you for letting us love on your beautiful baby boy. This is the why. 💙

11 YEARS of Ashley Eason at DCC! 🩷

Ashley first walked into Diabetes Care Center as a contracted in-office phlebotomist… and 11 years later, we truly can’t imagine DCC without her.

Today, E brings 20 years of phlebotomy experience, is a Certified Laboratory Specialist, and has an Associate of Applied Science in Business Office Technology.

When you first meet E, you know she is friendly, beautiful, sweet, and the best stick you’ll ever have for your labs.

But when you really know her, you know her heart is tender, her soul is loving, and her character is loyal. She will go to the ends of the earth to help someone — or an animal.

She also might hold the DCC record for most animals owned by one employee… and rumor has it, one of them is a possum. 😂

And when it comes to dress-up days, she does not play around. She designs and makes her own costumes and decorates the lab for every occasion.

Ashley, thank you for 11 years of loyalty, growth, hard work, creativity, and heart.

We love you big, E!

Rheagan isn’t just one of our DCC NPs — she’s also living with Type 1 diabetes and wearing the Tandem Mobi. 💙
