Advocating Better Lives for Everyone (ABLE), LLC is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and motivated individual to join our team as a Community Coach supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in community-based settings. 💙

This is a FUN 🎉, active 💪, and rewarding 🌟 position that takes place out in the community helping individuals participate in meaningful experiences and activities based on their goals and interests.
🧩 Activities may include:
🏋️ Going to the gym or fitness activities
🤝 Volunteering opportunities
📚 Visiting libraries, parks, museums, and community events
🛍️ Community outings and recreational activities
🗣️ Practicing social and communication skills in real-life settings
🧠 Supporting positive behavior and relationship building
🚌 Helping individuals safely navigate the community and access resources
🎨 Participating in hobbies and interest-based activities
🚘 Providing transportation to and from community activities and resources
Community Coaching services are designed to help individuals build independence 🌱, confidence 💫, social skills 🤝, and meaningful community involvement through one-on-one support in community settings.
✅ Qualifications:
🎓 High school diploma or GED required
🚗 Reliable transportation required
🪪 Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
🔍 Clean criminal background check required
💬 Strong communication and interpersonal skills
🧘 Ability to remain calm, supportive, and professional in different situations
⭐ Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but NOT required
