Today Gentiva Hospice helped us celebrate and remember our past residents with a beautiful memorial service. During the ceremony, each resident who has passed was commemorated with a specific color of sand to represent their life, personality, and the memories they shared with us. This special memory sand jar will be displayed in our care center as a meaningful reminder of those we have lost and continue to miss dearly.

After the service, residents, staff, and family members enjoyed snacks, drinks, and time together visiting and sharing memories. Thank you to Gentiva Hospice for providing such a thoughtful and heartfelt service. Our residents, staff, and families truly appreciated the opportunity to honor and remember those we’ve lost.

Today we took a trip to Wild Rose Casino! Our residents had a great time trying their luck and enjoying the outing together. For lunch, everyone enjoyed a delicious meal from Pizza Ranch!🎰🍕

Today our Nursing Home Week theme was “Shine Bright and Celebrate!”
Our staff lit up the day by wearing their brightest outfits to join in on the fun!

To keep the celebration going, our staff was treated to lunch from the Smokin Double D’s food truck—such a delicious meal! Yesterday, staff also enjoyed donuts as part of our Nursing Home Week festivities. 🍩

We are so grateful for our amazing team and all they do each and every day!💛

The weather was absolutely beautiful, so we took lunch outside for a picnic today! Our residents enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine while dining on grilled hot dogs, chips, baked beans, and watermelon—such a perfect spring day! ☀️🌭🍉

Today’s Nursing Home Week dress-up theme was Tie-Dye Day, and a few of our staff showed off their colorful tie-dye spirit!

This afternoon, students from Ruthven-Ayrshire Elementary School visited us and put on quite the show! Our residents absolutely LOVED watching and listening to all of the kids perform. Thank you for sharing your talents with us—we wish you all a wonderful spring concert tonight! 🎶🩷

Our residents and staff also enjoyed delicious banana splits from snack cart today! 🍌

For Nursing Home Week, we treated everyone to Jimmy John’s for lunch! And to keep the fun going, our staff teamed up and twinned with one another to bring on the “Twin Power!”

As Nurses Week wraps up, we want to send a special thank you to each of the incredible nurses at our facility! Every single day, they show up with compassion, dedication, and a commitment to making the lives of our residents better.

We are so blessed to have such an amazing group of hardworking, caring nurses! This week, we were happy to give each of them a few gifts as a small token of our appreciation.

Thank you for all you do—24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Your kindness and dedication do not go unnoticed! 🩷
