Today we pause to honor and remember all those we lost on September 11, 2001. We also pay tribute to the heroes—the first responders, service members, and everyday people—who showed courage, compassion, and unity in the face of tragedy.

May we never forget their sacrifice, and may we continue to keep their families and loved ones in our thoughts and prayers. ❤️🤍💙

Today our residents took their annual trip to the Clay County Fair—and what a perfect day it was! Families, friends, and staff joined us for an afternoon filled with favorite fair foods, browsing vendors, petting animals, and taking in all the sights the fair has to offer. 🎡

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out to spend the day with our residents—they truly appreciate the love and company. The smiles on their faces said it all! 💕 It was definitely a day to remember. Until next year, Clay County Fair! 🎡

Today our residents were treated to a special surprise—a soda float bar, thanks to Terina! 🍨🥤 Everyone had the chance to pick their favorite pop (or try something new!) and add fun toppings to make their float just right. The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and great conversation while enjoying these sweet treats. Thank you, Terina, for bringing so much joy to our day! 💛

🎳 Today we celebrated National Bowling League Day by lining the lane and giving residents their shot at a strike! Many smiles were shared as residents reminisced about their own bowling days—some even told stories of working as pin setters back in the day!

💅 In the afternoon, we enjoyed a little pampering with nail care, and then wrapped up the day with a lively game of Jeopardy. During Jeopardy, we also had a very special visitor—a sweet little baby who brought so much joy and extra smiles to our residents! 👶❤️

🎂 To top it all off, today was also our new Maintenance Director, Mark Geelan’s birthday! Residents and staff happily joined together to sing him “Happy Birthday.” Wishing you a wonderful day, Mark!

Our residents started their day with a fun round of soft toss in honor of National Spalding Baseball Day! After working up an appetite, we enjoyed some delicious donated cherry tomatoes with our lunch—thank you so much to those who continue to bless us with fresh fruit and veggies, our residents truly appreciate it! 🍅💛

This afternoon, we rolled up our sleeves and got creative by painting autumn trees to display for the upcoming fall season. Once our masterpieces were set aside to dry, we headed outdoors to soak up the beautiful weather. 🌳🍂☀️

To top off an already wonderful day, we had a special cake delivery to celebrate our September birthdays! 🎂🥳 Please join us in wishing Christa Hart, our Activities Director (and the rest of our September birthday crew) a very Happy Birthday! 🎉

We started off our morning by rolling up our sleeves and shucking sweet corn, slicing cucumbers and tomatoes for upcoming meals! 🥒🍅🌽 We also grated some HUGE zucchinis that will be perfect for our upcoming baking projects. This afternoon our ladies enjoyed a little pampering with fresh manicures, and once our nails were dry, we headed outside to soak up some fresh air and sunshine to end the day just right!

Big thank you to those who donated fresh fruits and veggies for our residents to enjoy!
