The Climb out of the Darkness Rutland page connects the local community to Postpartum Support International (https://www.postpartum.net/) whose purpose is to increase awareness among public and professional communities about the emotional changes that women experience during pregnancy and postpartum. Typically we have our Climb in June, but we are trying something a little different this year! We are joining with other PSI Climbs to try a Fall Climb. IMAGINE: it is crisp and sunny, Fri afternoon. You leave early from work or pick up the kids from school or care. You head to Pine Hill, where you meet with other Climbers--parents with lived experience. You take part in a small hike, representing the climb that is faced when parents struggle to emerge from a difficult period around childbirth or adoption or caregiving. You pick up some resources and schwag, and you head home in time for dinner!

We've got you covered. RCPCC is excited to announce these great opportunities to get to the lake(s) and play outside this summer!!!

Vermont State Parks has generously granted us FREE passes for park admission--and we've lined up some Meet-Up opportunities at the state parks in our region.

Jessica, who facilitates our Playgroups, will be on site with activities (and some shade! ⛱). We have planned some daytime and evening options. (See the flyer below for dates & locations.) Pack a picnic and come join the fun!! 🏖🛝🌞

Our community of dads/male caregivers is growing!! Join us this Friday evening--and the first Friday of every month--at Wonderfeet Kids' Museum for pizza, play, and community-building. At your request, we've extended our hours--we'll be there from 5:30-7:30!
