Hey little Nomads💙
Just popping in to say thank you so much for your consistent support. Many of you know that I’ve recently gone solo and left my part-time spa job. The slow growth that Nomad Massage has had the past 3 years has been so reliable, positive and pleasantly surprising. It makes me so happy to know that there are so many folks in this community who understand the power that consistent massage can actually have on our physical health. Those of you who get that something used constantly (like the body) needs maintenance, y’all are my true faves💛 Because of you I get to own my own business, and that is really really cool to me. As June 2024 approaches, we are coming upon the 3rd anniversary of Nomad Massage🎉 I want to thank you for choosing me as your Massage Therapist, and for allowing me to be a part of your self care and health journey. I’m so grateful for the life that owning my own studio has allowed me, and that’s all because of you! The time has flown and I have learned so much since getting licensed, working at a spa, and becoming a small business owner. I’m no longer a recent graduate, which is why I’ll be raising the prices of all Nomad Massage services to reflect my gained experience, and to keep up with the cost of products and operations. There's no denying that the entire world is affected by the recent attacks on Ukraine. And it's incredibly inspiring to see how a country full of different people with different beliefs, living different lives can come together in moments of hardship to overcome and fight for their right to live freely.💪

There is an air of anger and stress all over the world, so it's got me thinking about what I can do as a small business to bring positivity to my community, while donating to a bigger cause that I feel passionately about. That's why I'm donating 20% of all profits from April to Unicef in effort to help the Ukrainian people. That's $14 for every 50min Swedish, and $23 for every 80min Deep Tissue.

Unicef has been working nonstop in Ukraine providing health, hygiene, and emergency education supplies to communities closest to the line of contact, and trucking safe water to affected areas. They are also supporting mobile child protection teams providing psychosocial care to children traumatized by violence, and assisting with children who have been separated from their families. This is why I chose Unicef as the non-profit to donate to, because I believe they're in it for the long-haul. Even when the war is over, healing will take time and effort.
