We are so thankful for the students at Mount Anthony Union High School for their time and generosity. Dignity is something we can give to one another in simple, meaningful ways.

We had the BEST time at Vermont Maple Festival this past weekend! This was our first year designing and building a parade float, and we were completely surprised and honored to learn we WON "Most Creative Float". We loved the concept of including maple in our theme - given that we serve patients in their homes, we thought it would be fun to have our theme be "Breakfast in Bed, Serving You Comfort at Home". We are so glad that people enjoyed our 6' maple syrup bottle, giant pancakes, real bed and massive coffee.

The weather was perfect, the crowds were massive, the maple syrup was tasty! Kudos to everyone in St. Albans who helped make this wonderful weekend possible. We can't wait for next year!

We are so excited to announce that our Employees of the Quarter are:

Bonnie Green - Non-Clinical

Randi Crofut, RN - Clinical

Randi Crofut's continual dedication to our Core Values is seen in the numerous High Fives she has received. She is constantly going above and beyond to help not only her team but also others. One High Five writes, "Helping our Hospice team when we needed a hand, all while seeing your Homecare patients. Thank you for your willingness to help!" Randi is a team player and strives for excellence. One submission says, "Two weeks in a row without hesitation, Randi, helped me with one of my patients. I appreciate working with you!" Randi, your dedication is felt by your peers, and together we can't thank you enough for the hard work you put in!

Bonnie Green is someone everyone should meet! In her nominations, she is described as "... relentless in her efforts always, and is a true team player." Someone also said, "She never displays frustration at work, regardless of the situation, and is helpful with a smile." We couldn't agree more! She has created an impact that ripples all the way up to St. Albans. When asked how she consistently lives out our values, one submission says, "Bonnie is part of the backbone of our company. Every day, she helps fellow employees navigate the learning process of EMR to ensure their paychecks are correct. She always is smiling and positive and consistently goes above and beyond for the company to support all of us." Thank you for all that you do, Bonnie! Your dedication and kindness are radiant and inspire us all.

We were delighted to get an invite to the first ever St. Albans Volunteer Fair! What a lovely opportunity to let people know who we are and network with others. We were surrounded by many organizations within Franklin and Chittenden Counties, who were also looking for volunteer support.

We are hopeful our Hospice Volunteer Training on June 30th at our St. Albans office will fill- check out our events for more information: https://www.vermontvisitingnurses.org/events/

We were proud to participate in the St. Albans Rotary Expo, connecting with more than 5,000 members of the Franklin County community over the course of the weekend. Our team had the opportunity to answer questions, share resources, and raise awareness about the wide range of services we provide to support individuals and families at every stage of care. We are grateful to be part of such a vibrant community event and look forward to continuing to build connections at future events throughout Franklin County.

April is the month to give a shout out these incredible individuals who make such a meaningful impact, not only within our agency but throughout our communities!

To our occupational therapists, your expertise helps our patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. The skills many of us take for granted, from sweeping the floor to washing dishes or even heating up a quick meal. These seemingly easy things are made possible again through your knowledge and empathy; you know the difficulty our patients truly face. And with every small success, you help restore their autonomy. Your work truly impacts the lives of our patients.

To our volunteers, we cannot thank you enough! Your willingness to give your time means more than words can express and is vital to both our organization and the communities we serve. You extend our care beyond clinical services in so many meaningful ways. Whether it’s delivering meals through our Dinners with Love program, offering companionship and comfort as hospice volunteers, or honoring service members through our We Honor Veterans program, your compassion makes a lasting difference. We also can’t forget the love and comfort our hospice singers provide!

To our administrative professionals, you are the foundation of our agency, making it possible for our clinical staff to deliver the care our patients need. From organizing and managing operations to supporting staff across the board, your attention to detail and dedication are essential to keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring our patients receive the best possible care.
