In Vermont, there is a one of a kind, free program available through the Vermont Department of Health called "You First" that helps Vermont women and anyone with breasts or a cervix cover the cost of breast and cervical cancer screenings and diagnostic follow-up. "You First" offers eligible Vermonters a variety of free or low-cost health services. Here at Rutland Regional, we are lucky to have many Physician Assistants who practice medicine across a range of specialties. They can be found across the hospital, in clinics, the ED and the operating room. Our dedicated PAs and AAs work hard keeping patients healthy from diagnosis to prescription to monitoring and treatment. Thank you!

Something to look forward to!

The 14th sculpture on the trail is coming soon, with artist and designer Evan Morse now doing detailed finishing work. The sculpture commemorates Rutland’s record-breaking Gift-of-Life Marathon, and will honor donors, volunteers and blood recipients, represented by Bobby Poquette, Mary Ojala and Stefanie Schaffer! The sculpture will be dedicated in memory of Tom Huebner, an early and strong supporter of the GOLM.
