Helpful Hints during the Pandemic
For your friends, family, and colleagues:
-Let those around you know that hearing with a mask is difficult, and it is even more so for someone with hearing loss.
-When speaking to me please be patient and speak slowly.
-Please do not shout, overemphasize, or exaggerate your words.
-Ask if they would not mind wearing a clear Communicator Mask when with you.
For yourself:
-Do you have access to a volume control?
-When is the last time you had your hearing aids professionally cleaned?
-Do you need adjustments?
-Purchase clear Communicator Masks for the people that you are around constantly to alleviate stress.
