We agree with this philosophy on what it means to practice from a Health At Every Size™️ standpoint! And we love collaborating with you, Christin!
We have a number of newcomers to the page so I think it's time for a re-introduction!
Hi there! I’m Christin, I’m an anti-diet registered dietitian (RD) from NH. I have worked across the age spectrum starting prenatally and all the way through geriatrics.
Almost 6 years ago, I started my own private practice within my home community. Since then, we have helped hundreds of people heal their relationship with food, their bodies and themselves. I’d love for you to follow me here on Facebook or Instagram and check out my website as well: www.monadnocknutritionservices.com
My specialty is the treatment of eating disorders / disordered eating and intuitive eating. I practice within the Health At Every Size (HAES) principles and believe that the most ethical way to provide care is from a weight neutral perspective.
Just a word on “anti-diet”. The term anti-diet RD does NOT mean I am anti- medical nutrition therapy. What is does mean is that I am anti: diet-and-weight-biased-culture. So, sorry, no weight-loss diets here. Instead, I focus on your individual nutrition therapy needs and practices from a weight-neutral approach that is aligned with the Health At Every Size principles.
My goal is to help you feel confident about food and your body and to live your best life despite a culture of diets, weight stigma and “good foods / bad foods”. You deserve to have unconditional permission to eat the food you want without guilt.
A few facts about me: I have 4 dogs; 2 pit bulls and 2 beagles and can NOT keep up with all the dog hair. I love gardening and growing my own food, but usually end up giving over half of it away because I can't keep up with storing and processing it all. I have 2 amazing daughters: one is 8 and one is a teenager... and I've never felt so uncool in my entire life!
I am endlessly grateful for the work that I do and can not wait to continue my journey of helping others make peace with food and their bodies right within the county I grew up.
Thank you SO much for stopping by. I am honored that you’re here.
