Woodpecker Volunteer Fire Department We are a 501(c)(3) public charity, serving the Tri-County Area of North Liberty, Hardin and Polk Counties. As a non-profit, our revenue comes from donations.

We serve the community as volunteer first responders and firefighters with a fully trained and certified volunteer corps. We also hold community functions during the year...We operate as fully volunteer fire department and welcome community and corporate donations of any size.

December 31, 2025 at 7pm, the Woodpecker Volunteer Fire Department will be doing a small fireworks show at the fire station, everyone come join us. It's blob, blocked, byof. This is a community event, no drugs on premises, also no fighting there will be kids at this event so if you fight you will be escorted off in a taxi. Yall be safe! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!

We are.putting on a fireworks show at the fire station, if anyone would like to donate, W.R. Boyd will be going tomorrow to get fireworks for the show. If you would like to donate please get with Ashley Delaney today with your donation so we can put on a great fireworks show for the community.

With that being said, it is byob, chair and whatever else you would like to bring. This will be a community event, so please be respectable and no BS.

The first of the year is right around the corner, with that being said we are still looking for anyone who would like to donate to do a fireworks show at the fire station for the community. Since the New Year's right around the corner, the fire department has decided to do a fireworks show at the station if we get enough donations to help with getting fireworks! With that being said, if anyone would like to make a donation to help us have a good fireworks show please get with W.R. Boyd or Ashley Delaney, I will give you a cash receipt for your donation. Thank you everyone for your continued support.
