Trunk or treat festival October 30th from 6pm-9pm. Everyone welcome, come join the fun for the kiddos. There will be food games and prizes. Donations are welcome. Below is a list of things needed,
Hot dog buns
Hot dogs
Prizes for games
Candy
Volunteers to set up for the trunk or treat
Volunteers to do face paintings
Drinks.
These are what I can think of so far. For donations please get with Ashley Delaney and she will give you a receipt for the donation. Thank you everyone for your continued support.

The Woodpecker Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to assist North Liberty County VFD and Allegiance EMS with setting up a landing Zone. L.Z. was set-up in the roadway on 146, in front of the fuel station. Thank you to all the drivers for their patience while we help our community

On Monday 08/11, we joined the SPCVFD at the North Liberty County VFD station to participate in a HURST rescue tool demo. Thanks to NLCVFD for the invite, and HURST for the opportunity to train with their tools.

Hoop n holler residents as you know Keith off of fudge bought a gradual to fix the roads, those thing take some maintenance like diesel hydraulic fluid and other repairs as it goes, he spent his money to buy this to help our community. If you anyone can donate to him to help with diesel and whatever he needs for the machine plus it takes time to maintain these roads. Anything donated would be greatly appreciated. Even if everyone donates $5 a week/month something to show him we appreciate what he's doing will be appreciated. If you would like to donate you can get with Keith or with Ashley Delaney. Thank everyone for your continued support. Let's show him some support.

Hey everyone please don't forget, that we have partnered with Concord Babtist Church, to hand out school supplies to the kiddos for this school year. Any and all donations are welcome. We are trying to make enough for 200 backpacks, so the kids can have something to start school with and parents who may or may not be struggling can stressless. If you would like to donate please get with Ashley Delaney, any donations are welcome cash or school supplies, also we are putting together a toiletry bag for them as well. If you would like a list please message me.
